So I'm a bit behind on getting September on the blog. We have had some sleepless nights in the Cary house lately so I have used Cooper's nap time to nap too. :) Just after Cooper turned 2 he decided to climb out of his crib! But for his birthday we had gotten him a big boy bed. So Labor Day weekend we did the switch from the crib to the big boy bed. It took a few nights but after that he was great! He slept great in his bed for 3 weeks then he flipped out (we're thinking some sort of separation anxiety stage hit) and has had a hard time sleeping and staying asleep at night. Hopefully it ends soon and he goes back to being his great little sleeping self (I'll let you know how it goes in the next month's post). At the beginning of September we went to a local u-pick farm for Zac's birthday (Cooper's friend). All the kids had fun tromping around and picking veggies. Cooper had more fun taking the veggies back out of the basket than putting them in. :) Cooper has been having fun playing with his new trains he got for his birthday. He just loves Thomas and friends! We have a great time setting up different tracks to play on. This month we also got some family photos taken by the lovely and talented Emily Knapp. So fun! Cooper is quite the camera ham! (Go here to see all the wonderful pictures: http://gallery.emilyknapp.com/caryfamily2011) At the end of September 2 other friends, Lisa and Emily, and I started a little home preschool. We are currently doing it one day a week with our 4 kids. We have Zac- 4, Ty- 2 1/2, Katey- 2 3/4 and Cooper- 2. Our goal is for the kids to learn to be kind, listen and follow instructions from someone other than mommy (and daddy) and to have fun together.
