Eeeeekkk!! 2 really is just around the corner! When did my baby grow up? I guess I can't really call him a baby anymore because he is a busy, busy toddler. He is constantly saying and learning new things. Our favorite phase that he has picked up is "ah, dang" which he picked up from us quoting Mater from Cars a bit. :) It is pretty cute when he tries to say "I love you," it ends up coming out "I oooo you." Cooper still really loves his cars and loves Thomas the Tank Engine (or "pay-pay" as he calls Thomas). This last month we had some fun adventures. Jeff and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on the 3rd. Cooper was sick leading up to our anniversary so we postponed our date night until the next weekend (we went to see Cars 2 (I know super romantic right? But it suits us since one of our first dates was going to see Finding Nemo) and had a super yummy dinner at the Macaroni Grill) . On our actually anniversary day we headed to the zoo for the day and went on the dino path (Cooper was finally fever free so we all decided to get out and enjoy the day). Cooper was not to fond of the moving roaring T-Rex. The next day for the 4th we went to check out the field of flags during the day and enjoy the Sandy fireworks that evening. Cooper had so much fun watching all the fireworks. Towards the end of the month we got to go to Pine Hollow with friends from our growth group. We had fun BBQ-ing and hang out on the lake. We were so excited that Cooper had a fun time swimming in the lake with Jeff. Before this Cooper has been quite timid with the water unless it was bath water warm. When he went in the water and was having a great time we were so proud of him. Now for the pictures:
