December was a great month! We had lots of family time which was so much fun. For our Advent this year we did The Truth in the Tinsel which has a daily craft that we got to do together. We started off December by celebrating Beau's birthday (his real birthday was right by Thanksgiving so the party waited). Then we had fun decorating our tree and putting out all our Christmas decorations. This year I made a felt nativity and a felt tree for Cooper to interact with. Also with home schooling we did some fun Christmas activities to learn more about Jesus's birth and why we celebrate Christmas. We also went on the Holiday Train ride. Cooper thought the train ride was awesome! We had a fun time that evening with Vance, Katie, Lanie, Beau, Nana and Papa. I definitely think this will be a new tradition for us! Of course, we went to Zoolights too! We have made that a yearly tradition already. This year Nana and Papa joined us in checking out all the pretty lights. Christmas Eve Eve we did our own family Christmas time. We opened up our gifts for each other and from Grandma and Grandpa. Christmas Eve was a nice evening over at Nana and Papa's house. Cooper had fun with his cousins playing. Christmas day started with stockings and a fun breakfast at home before heading to Salem to spend time with Grandpa Dave and Tutu. Cooper had fun playing with Tutu's huge stuffed reindeer. December was a great month full of a bunch of great memories!
